Sometimes I wish all of humanity would revert to unicellular states and evolve again from the beginning. I can’t imagine we’d be any worse off. When Cleveland shows up when you log onto AlJazeera English you should always be concerned. This story just made me lose even more faith in mankind. I cannot, for the life of me figure this one out, and I say that a fair amount when it comes to understanding this species I am supposedly a representative off.
Happy May Day! I’m celebrating by reposting this good old communist party illustration.
This is about all I have for tonight. I’m terrified that I will die wondering what would have happened had I made any dozen or so alternate decisions… So it goes I suppose…
Just found out a couple hours ago I’ve got a new job at Whole Foods. It’s not exactly a dream job but I can’t wait for fresh start with new people and a shorter commute. Plus 20% off is nice.
Randomly came across this a few minutes ago, I’ve always loved macro photography and in this case these beautiful photo’s capture ethereal snowflakes in the brief moments before they melt, a fleeting wonder of nature we’d never see in such resolution if we weren’t lucky enough to be born in the modern era. Photos by Andrew Osokin, check out more of his works here.
Thank you people who have continued to follow me despite having posted nothing as of late. As a reward I’m reposting this visual representation of the scientific “fact” that god loved dinosaurs and as such he let them die suddenly and horribly so that the next creatures he loved with equal ardor could then queue up for their inevitable, though loving of course, demise.
A lot of new people have chosen to follow me today despite very few posts in the last six months. As a result, I have found a sketch to serve as my autobiography. More posts may or may not be forthcoming.
Answer:
Mostly reading, writing, and looking for a new job. I haven’t really felt like tumblring all that much lately, but in the spirit of tumblr, here’s a weird image to go along with this answer that has nothing to do with it whatsoever.

I just picked up Arthur C. Clarke’s Rendezvous with Rama to read while I’m in Cleveland with the family for the next couple days. I have to say I’ve never been more impressed by the first pages of a Sci Fi novel before! This should be a good holiday, the fact that I have to cook most of Christmas dinner notwithstanding.

By the way, I imagine somewhere in this image there is a suitable pine tree for a Christmas tree or perhaps thousands, so this post is filled with more holiday cheer than you may imagine.
